I worked with Katy Perry when she released her first single. She is one of my favorite artists and consistently inspires me in so many ways!!!!! Real, raw and sweet as SUGAR’…She is coming out with a new film and watching the trailer completely inspired me!!! It also reminded me of how powerful her song “Firework” is and re-watching the video just ignited that fire in me all over again! When I was facing a really painful time this past year, I will never forget when I got a random text message from someone I hadn’t heard from in years.
It read simply “You’re a firework”.
Well, from that day on I would listen to this song and in some small way it would give me hope, especially when I would read the words! I pray and hope that you too, on the days that you need a pick me up, listen to this very encouraging song and remember that BABY YOU’RE A FIREWORK!!!!!!!
