Stella McCartney, my most fave fashion designer

Stella McCartney is my most favorite fashion designer. I know that’s a strong statement, but it’s true. I can’t say that it’s because I always love the styles she puts out there, but rather it’s more based on her passionate core stance for ethical fashion, despite it not always being the easiest thing to produce. Just like her mamma, Linda McCartney, Stella has followed in her vegan footsteps. She’s consciously making efforts to do the ‘right thing’ to produce fashion in a sustainable, ethical manner. I found her recent Resort Collection both pretty and refreshing in vibe. It seems like after a couple of slow seasons, Stella got her groove back…and that makes me happy! Held at New York City’s Elizabeth Street Garden, in sync with her resort collections of season’s past at local urban community gardens, this enchanted garden party was filled with lots of pretty celebs and model friends playing around and LAUGHING/SMILING(always lovely to see, as smiling is typically prohibited at most fashion collections). Some of my most adored & independent-spirited female celebs like Liv Tyler, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Amber Heard, Lucy Liu, Jessica Seinfeld and Cara Delevingne showed up to support their friend. Gotta love all these Boho girls.
